American Transmission Co. projects

Project website for a Wisconsin-based company that owns and operates the high-voltage electric transmission system that powers communities in portions of the Upper Midwest.

With significant growth and commercial development in the Tomah area, a true need existed for expansion of the area’s electric transmission system.

American Transmission Co. and Alliant Energy built approximately 7.5 miles of 69-kilovolt transmission line to connect to a new Alliant Energy substation in Warrens, called the Warrens Substation.
