Project overview

ATC has completed construction and placed in service approximately 14 miles a new 138-kilovolt transmission line connecting a new substation located east of Horicon to an existing substation south of Neosho.

The electric transmission system that serves the communities of Beaver Dam, Hustisford, Horicon, and central Dodge County will benefit from a more reliable system to serve the growing area. Previously, the electric system was operating at maximum capacity and could not accommodate growth in electric usage or maintain service in the event of an equipment failure.
